The legislation relating to fires in stadiums and arenas can be found in the Fire Safety and Safety of Places of Sport Act 1987. Under this legislation, it is stated that the organiser of events must plan, organise, control and review the necessary measures for ensuring that occupants of stadiums and arenas are safe.
